At Retold Vintage, each piece is individually sourced, repurposed, restored, and reimagined using vintage and pre-loved materials. Due to the unique nature of our jewellery, many items may show subtle signs of age or character that form part of their story and are not considered faults.
We comply with the Australian Consumer Law.
Change of Mind
As our pieces are one-of-a-kind vintage and repurposed items, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for:
- change of mind
- incorrect selection
- preference regarding size, colour, or style
- minor vintage wear or imperfections described or shown in product images
Please read all product descriptions carefully before purchasing and contact us if you have any questions prior to ordering.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy if an item has a major fault, is not as described, or is not of acceptable quality considering its age, materials, and vintage nature.
If you believe your item is faulty, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order with:
- your order number
- a description of the issue
- clear photographs of the item
We will assess the issue and, where required under Australian Consumer Law, provide an appropriate remedy, which may include:
- repair
- replacement (where possible)
- store credit
- refund
As many pieces are one-of-a-kind, replacements may not always be available.
Vintage & Repurposed Jewellery Disclaimer
Our jewellery is created using vintage, reclaimed, and repurposed components. Variations in colour, texture, patina, and wear are expected and contribute to the individuality of each piece.
We make every effort to accurately photograph and describe our products, including any noticeable imperfections.
Normal wear over time, tarnishing, accidental damage, improper storage, exposure to perfumes/water/chemicals, or general ageing of vintage materials is not considered a manufacturing fault.
